As photographers, Herman en I have been to lots of places and we’ve stayed the night in a wide variety of accommodations scattered all over the world. From a simple hut in Goa to a barn in Romania, from a ‘spa’ in Odessa to luxury hotels in LA or low-price rooms in NY.
It gives a pleasant feeling to ‘come home’ even when you are abroad.
Since we wanted to make other people feel this way in our own city, we started our own Bed & Breakfast. The ‘first room’: a ‘Chinese opium room’
