The OId Byre is located in the crofting township of Ose on the beautiful North West Skye coast on the Sligachan to Dunvegan road. The Old Byre is a converted crofthouse standing in its own grounds built in the 1800s. To find us from the Skye Bridge, or the ferries, proceed North through Broadford on the A87 then at Sligachan take the A863 to Dunvegan road. Continue to Struan then a further 3 miles arrive at Ose. We are on the right about 200 metres past the Ose River, set back from the road

There are beautiful walks through the Glen of Ose or take a short walk down to the shore of Loch Bracadale with its sandy/shingle beach at low tide and many rock pools to explore. Seals can often be spotted here basking on the rocks. |
