Gwynfryn (the name of which, loosely translated means White Hill) was built in 1873 as a residence for the Superintendent Preacher of the Wesleyan Methodist Church, which is situated to the rear of the property. Conwy is at the centre of the Celtic coast of more than 200 miles of beautiful varied coastline. The town itself dates back to the days of Edward 1st who in the 13th Century built the unforgettable Conwy Castle above the River Conwy, which dominates the town.
