Arthome is an original village schoolhouse, built in 1860 it became the Women's Institute before being converted into a unique accommodation and art space in the 1990's. Original works of art, a Japanese pond and sculpture garden on the banks of the River Vrnwy add to the ambience. Situated in mid Wales, close to Snowdonia National Park, the village of Pontrobert is famous for it's beautiful walks and landscapes, which were the inspiration for the Welsh Hymn writer Anne Griffiths.
