Apartment Helena is a wonderful and spacious 3 bedroom apartment only 300 metres from the historic town centre of Supetar and 500 metres to the nearest beach. The apartment consists of 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, 1 single bedroom, bathroom with shower enclosure, large kitchen with dining area, living area with a double sofa bed and a ground floor terrace. It is fully equipped for a self-catering holiday. Supetar is the capital town of the island where the car ferry comes to from Split. It has a great number of restaurants, cafes, bars and night clubs. Also beaches with water sport activities, fruit and vegetable market, daily fish market, grocery stores and shops. During the summer months it is truly the heart of the island with many cultural events, island fiestas and an open air cinema and shows. It is only 50 minutes crossover from Split with the ferries that go both ways more than 10 times a day.Come in the high season of July and August and you’ll find Supetar vibrant with life with holidaymakers from all over Europe. Eat out at a different restaurant each evening and sample the friendly bars and cafes of the town. Or, just 45 minutes from Supetar by car, you can visit beautiful beach resort named Bol, very famous for its beach phenomenon called Zlatni Rat. Alternatively take a 45-minute ferry ride to Split and wander through the 1700 year old alleyways of the Diocleceans Palace, do some designer brand name shopping, or just promenade along the elegant palm tree lined Riva eating an ice cream! For a quiet holiday come in June or September. If walking is your thing, there’s plenty of lovely coastal and inland walks with many beautiful old stone villages to explore.Supetar offers fun for all the family.
