Hi, we are Steve & Kate Smith
We have 40 years experience in the farming industry and 30 years experience in NZ and NZ farming (Northland).
At Kaurivale we try to give our visitors a taste of the real Rural New Zealand. Some are farmers from overseas who like to sea how we do things in New Zealand. Some are visitors who are just looking to get back to basics/ or who wish to give their children the farm experience. Plus we have the beach, forest and beautiful Kai Iwi Lakes right on our doorstep.

The Kauri Coast is famous for its beaches, fishing, the Kai Iwi Lakes, Waipoua Forest and Kauri Museum, not to mention the ancient kauri trees. We can help you see all this or have a go at something a bit more challenging like pig hunting, |

Facilities & Services| Kaurivale has top quality farmstay facilities set in a tranquil, country valley. Horse treks arranged. We love this part of the country with it's warm sub tropical climate, wonderful beaches and lakes and a great farming lifestyle. |
