Te Oranga is an economical seven bed farmstay on a small farm 17 kilometres west of Whangarei. Besides growing cut flowers, tamarillos and the usual farm animals Te Oranga is also the home of EarthBound Pottery, the workshop of potter/artist and tutor, Janet Hyde.
Guests can participate in farming activities and receive pottery tuition if they wish.

Te Oranga is centrally situated in Northland. We are three quarters of an hour from either west coast or east coast beaches, an hour from the Kauri forests and one and a half hours from the Bay of Islands. |

Facilities & Services| The Te Oranga farmstay holiday accommodation is a "No Frills", self catering unit. It is spacious and pleasant; in an open planned area on the floor above the pottery studio. There is a semi partitioned dormitory with beds one end and a living area |
