Our home is set on the shores of the Whangarei harbour at McLeod Bay. The Whangarei Heads is an area of striking beauty with rugged hills rising steeply from a deep water harbour which has attracted people to the area from the earliest times. Wild ocean and surf beach with walking tracks around the bays are part of this unique place. The local golf club is also within 15 minutes drive. Legendary Mount Manaia, Mount Aubry and the Bream Head Range dominate the landscape with their striking beauty.
