The GET OUT OF DODGE RETREAT: This amazing home is located on 22-acres of a private gated estate, a beautiful drive downhill through the redwoods, just 25-min to the Village and Beach of Capitola. You can see the whole Monterey Bay, including the Capitola Beach and all the way across the Bay to Monterey/Carmel. You will never want to leave this bit of paradise that is almost always above the June Gloom in summer. The large sparkling swimming pool has a cabana, or small poolside covered area that has 1 of the 2 hot tubs, and a great set of padded chairs and a table to enjoy the shade and the view. The deer love to come in the meadow and are happy to ignore the visiting dogs that are on the deck next to the home, on the surrounding deck or in the fenced in area of the swimming cabana. When you walk into this home you are greeted by a large plant basking in the sunlight of an elegant glass dome in the ceiling. To the Right is a long comfortable couch with a middle drop down drink holder to enjoy a glass of white wine while watching a large flat screen TV and entertainment center. There are a couple of other fun chairs in this area.Going forward as one is drawn to the view, you find a nice fire-stove and a comfortable 3-sided seating area and an upright piano. To your Right is the first of two large dining tables that can seat up to 12 with a second table that can seat up to 8 on the deck outside. There is also a picnic table under the oak tree deck at the end of the house. The kitchen has a large peninsula on the dining area side with lots of counter space and up-to-date kitchen appliances. To your left is the Game Room with a full sized pool table and accessories, a fun waist-high 20’ long shuffle board table, and your very own FREE jukebox with original 45 records from the ‘60s and ’70 to enjoy playing the oldies but goodies. At the far end of the Game Room is a nice Dart board and a good place to keep score while admiring the spectacular view.To the Right of the Kitchen, there is a full bathroom and to the right of it, is a small bedroom with a double bed. Down the hall is a 2nd Bedroom with a twin XL bed build in and a twin roll away in the closet and a door to a lovely oak studded deck. The next bedroom has a Queen Murphy bed. The Master Bedroom at the other end of the home has a King and a Queen bed, a bath area with a walk-in jaccuzzi and a large two basin sink area. At the end of this large room is a door leading to the private hot tub on a deck. The deck goes almost around the home, and connects with the large oak studded deck that is off the 3rd and 4th bedrooms. The BBQ is just outside the Kitchen near the silver teak table, and there are some fresh vegetables in a planter garden at the side of the deck. You will enjoy watching all the hummingbirds dance around the feeders and look down on the friends splashing around in the Swimming Pool.You have incredable privacy as you cannot to see any other homes as you look down the expansive view to the Monterey Bay. A true retreat to create wonderful memories for you and your guests.
