The cabin is a huge cabin/studio, it offers a very large bathroom with a large soak tub, a stand up shower, full washer & dryer, full size kitchen, dining area, sitting room with a view of the forest and a gorgeous gas fireplace. We just (2007)have put in a brand new queen size pillow top mattress that makes you feel like you are really sleeping in the clouds and there is a large picture window just above the bed so that when you lay there you can keep your eyes on the Big Dipper. Location: Volcano, Puna District, Big Island, Hawaii, USA (40 min from Hilo Airport & 2min from Volcano National Park) Accommodations: Cabin, Studio + Other (See Description), 1 Bath (Sleeps 2). Beautiful cottage in a beautiful place! We have everything available to make our stay a comfortable one. You will love the outside deck and the soaking tub. The native forest is right there on every side. Will absolutely recommend this to friends and family for a Volcano getaway. This is absolutely an ideal property fully of privacy and quintessence, very clean and lovingly maintained. It's gorgeous inside with lots of hardwood. There is a large washer/dryer set, which was critical for us. The owners are very nice and it is incredibly reasonably-priced. My only recommendation if you stay here is to arrive during daylight hours. It is difficult to find the key and maneuver your car when you're unfamiliar with the property and you arrive in the dark. And since there's no water in this area, a water view wasn't a factor when we selected this property. We began staying in this cabin over 3 years ago. We both agree this is our favorite place on earth to stay. The cabin feels like home to us and provides every need during our stay on the Big Island. First class accommodations for more than reasonable price. You cannot find a better option to stay on the Big Island! The ferns, the rainforest and the cabin all come together to create your own piece of 'heaven on earth'.
