Our vacation home in Volcano, Hawaii, is a charming bed and breakfast suites and vacation rentals tucked away in the outskirts of Volcano just minutes from the entrance to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. These suites offers privacy, comfort, and convenience to area activities. Everything is here for you to enjoy your stay in this unique area of the Big Island. The Hawaii Volcanoes National Park offers the visitor a special view of nature unlike anyplace else on earth. Be sure to plan enough time to enjoy the hiking, craters, lava tubes, lush rainforest, steam vents, birds, ancient petroglyphs, spectacular views, and brand new land. The visitor center offers excellent exhibits, films, geological talks, and information. Also, top local artisans display their works at the Volcano Art Center Gallery located in the park. Located on professionally landscaped acreage in the rainforest, its features include a combo bedroom (queen size bed) / living area, full bath, breakfast nook, outdoor BBQ, TV (Dish Network), DVD and CD player/radio. Complete linens provided including towels, comforters & blankets. Nicely appointed and furnished in charming décor, the Fern Forest Retreat will be the perfect home base for your volcano adventure. We are located within minutes of Volcano Village and restaurants. Driving directions from Hilo: # Take Highway #11 (Kanoelehua Ave.) 26 miles towards Volcano. Take note of the mile markers along the highway to give you an idea on distance. # Just after the 23 mile marker, turn LEFT onto Alii Kane Street. Alii Kane begins as a two lane paved road for the first half mile...narrows to a one lane paved road another half mile then finally a cinder-stone road for the last quarter mile ending at the property. Driving directions from Kona: Take Highway #11 (Hawaii Belt Road) 90 miles to Volcano. Take note of the mile markers along the highway to give you an idea on distance. Alii Kane Street is at mile marker 23. Approximately 4 1/2 miles past the entrance to Volcanoes National Park and just before mile marker 23, turn right on Alii Kane Street. Alii Kane begins as a two lane paved road for the first half mile...narrows to a one lane paved road another half mile then finally a cinder-stone road for the last quarter mile ending at the property.

Cancellation Policy Cancellation fees: If you cancel 30 Days prior to arrival you will receive a refund of $85.00 minus $10.00 for processing fee. If you cancel Less then 30 days before arrival you will forfeit your deposit. A deposit of $95.00 is required to hold a reservation.You can make payment by check or through Pay Pal.
